When I started at belk, there was no “mobile point of view. Belk.com was built off a legacy platform called blue martini, and mobile content was published through a vendor (Mooveweb). I came up with a system that made our design team able to quickly build mobile assets and publish the site. We utilized scene7 and naming conventions to have device specific content without having a responsive site. below is the pitch deck to kick off the converstion with the executive leader ship teams.
